It is hard to pen our 18 days tour and the experience of Scandinavian trip. But at the same time I will not miss the opportunity to share it with you, so it goes like this
The experience of our trip is basically divided into two, one is the cruise and the other is our Norway land trip.
Cruise was a chocolate cake, tailor made trip with icing on top “meeting my sisters” and seeing different ports of call.
@ St Petersburg we enjoyed the guided tour, saw the museum, the cathedral etc. Oh! It was a picture perfect decorated and ornamented city with lamp posts and gardens and sign board. The best part of this place was that we had the 7 course lunch in Russia!
@ Tallin we explored the Spanish and Russian culture with pebble roads, walking around the fort and large park.
@ Helsinki we enjoyed the theatre, the ice bar restaurant, buying souvenirs and walking along the beach.
@ Stockholm the county side house, the lush green grass, the perfect blue sky and the sparkling water were like poster colored cards. There were large buildings with garden and fountain places all filled with blooming, colorful spring flower.
@Copenhagen City of bicycles, we saw most of the people dressed in evening attire, riding on the bicycle even to the concert at Trivoli Garden. We saw the mermaid statue and the city center area where there was a group of people performing on live music.
Those days were Euphoric on the cruise with my sisters with food fun and frolic.
But then my sisters left for USA so a moment of depression and mind hovering with all questions started but thanks to your vision and planning and because of this confidence in your itinerary we moved further!!
For Norway
Experience of and in Norway was extra ordinary never to be erased from our memory you ask and we can describe non stoppable. Be its food, its bus journey or the Train journey to Flam. In this trip we saw every season’s hot sun, frozen lakes, snowing day at Flam, Rainy day at Alesund and cold breezy weather at Nordkapp. Norway is famous for its” mid night sun” and “Northern lights” we saw the mid night sun at North Cape at 2.0 am. The ride in ferry from one fjords to other was very exciting because we crossed it with a bus on board the large ferry. The water in some fjords was so still and clean that it show the mirror images of trees and clouds in the sky.
It was really so nice that we want to go again but now in winter to see the Northern lights.
